What listing does and does not buy
To be direct about the arrangement: an affiliate relationship changes nothing about placement. The sort order is computed from the dataset, the dataset is published, and a paid link does not move a row. Requests to be ranked higher get read and ignored. Requests to correct a wrong number get applied.
Response time
This is one person, not a support desk. Corrections are prioritised over everything else because a wrong price is the only failure mode that actually costs a reader money.
